Program Manager – Telecommunications

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in telecommunications to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all company projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. This position is 100% remote and eastern time zone hours will be required.‍

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee the execution of telecommunications projects from inception to completion.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management. Ensure all parties are informed of project progress and any issues that arise.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage program budgets. Track expenses and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams. Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project delivery.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular program updates and reports to stakeholders. Maintain detailed documentation of all project activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Program Manager in the telecommunications industry.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Candidates must reside the United States of America.

Preferred Skills:

• PMP or similar project management certification.
  

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary will be determined by experience. Position is budgeted for $60,000 - $120,000 yearly.
• The company does not possess a group medical plan, but stipend is given to offset privately secured insurance.
• Company paid Employee Assistance Program.
• Current PTO policy allows for unlimited PTO (subject to policy change).
• Cell phone and internet stipend of $120 per month.
• Bonuses are at the company’s discretion.
